Early black japanned fly tying chest, similar to that described in Kelson’s “The Salmon Fly”, pages 457-8 (being one of three fly boxes he used and recommended), this example made by Rollason, Hatton Garden London in black japanned tin with leather outer case to base, 17” x10” x15” tall, side carry handles, hinged lid opens to reveal a cream interior
